What we collect

When you use Interviews with AI, you paste your resume and a job description. That text is sent to Anthropic's API to extract structured data, then the raw text is deleted from our database. We don't store your resume text or job description text after parsing is complete.

During mock interviews, your typed responses are stored as part of the interview conversation. These are direct user input, not AI-generated content.

The AI-extracted data (your work history, skills, performance grades) along with your interview responses are kept for the life of your session. Sessions expire after 30 days, at which point everything is automatically deleted.

How we use it

Your data is used only to run the mock interview: generating questions, evaluating your answers, and producing the performance report. We don't use it for anything else.

Anthropic API

The AI features in this app are powered by Anthropic's Claude. Your resume text, job description text, and interview responses are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. This data is sent as-is, before any scrubbing occurs. The scrubbing described above only applies to our own database, not to data already sent to Anthropic. Anthropic's own privacy policy applies to how they handle that data.

Data retention

Sessions and all associated data are automatically deleted after 30 days. Cost and usage metrics (token counts, model names) are retained indefinitely for operational purposes, but they are anonymized — the link to your specific session is removed when your session expires.

No cookies. No tracking. No accounts.

This app doesn't use cookies. It doesn't track you across sessions. There are no user accounts. Each session is identified by a random ID in the URL — that's it.
